Plan videos
with your agent.

Your agent researches the topic, pitches titles and hooks, drafts the script and finds the B-roll. You direct. CueCan keeps every take in one place per video, where you pick what works and leave notes for the next pass.

Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor and any agent that speaks MCP.

Your agent can help plan a whole video. It just has nowhere to put it.

The CueCan bird buried in browser tabs and sticky notes at 2 a.m.research (3)untitled (14)hook ideas v7b-roll_FINALGOODHOOK??ASKAGAIN

It’s everywhere

Research in tabs, titles in notes, the script in a doc, B-roll in a folder, and the good hook in a chat you can’t find.

Every chat starts over

A new conversation doesn’t know the brief, the hook you picked or what you cut last time. So you paste it all in again.

A chat isn’t a script

You can’t star the better line, compare three hooks side by side, or leave a note on beat four in a wall of chat text.

CueCan gives every video one home. Your agent reads it before it writes, and saves everything back.

Scene 2 · How it works

Talk it through. Read it back. Steer.

  1. 01

    Connect your agent

Add CueCan to ChatGPT or Claude, or point your coding agent at cuecan.com/mcp. Sign in with Google and approve it once.

  2. 02

    Plan out loud

Start from your idea and your notes, and work out the brief together. Your agent researches, pitches titles, thumbnails and hooks, and drafts the script beat by beat, saving it all to the video as it goes.

  3. 03

    Review and steer

Open the video on cuecan.com. Read the script, star the option you like, rewrite anything that doesn’t sound like you, and leave todos for the rest. Then tell your agent “I left you some todos.”

Take 1 · The script

A script you can read, with every option one click away

Each paragraph is a beat. Alternate hooks and lines sit beside it as options, so you compare them instead of scrolling back through chat. Star the one that goes in the script. The rest stay for later.

  • Edit it like a doc. It saves as you type.
  • Your agent fills in what it can, and marks what only you know.

Take 2 · Titles and thumbnails

Judge titles and thumbnails the way viewers will

Every idea is a package: a title and a thumbnail, shown together the way YouTube shows them. Duplicate one to try a new title on the same image, and star the one you’d ship.

  • Every package, beat and option has a label, so you can just say which one.

Take 3 · Todos

Leave a note. Your agent does it.

Select a line and add a todo, or leave one on a package or an asset. When you’re done reviewing, tell your agent. It works through them oldest first, makes the changes, and checks each one off.

Rough recordings are fast to make and slow to edit. Flubs, retakes, long pauses.

Take 4 · Assets

B-roll and graphics, placed where they play

Your agent makes or finds the graphics, B-roll, music and sound effects, and places each one on the beats it covers. The plan reads like an edit before you open your editor.

  • Your footage stays on your drive. CueCan keeps a preview and where the original lives.
  • Intro music and logo stings live in a library every video can use.

Take 5 · Your channel

Your past videos teach it how you talk

Connect your YouTube channel and your recent videos come in with their views and retention. Your agent learns your voice from their scripts, and sees what worked before it writes the next one.

  • Read-only. CueCan never uploads, edits or deletes anything on your channel.
  • Optional, and you can disconnect any time. What we read and why.

CueCan doesn’t generate anything. Your agent researches, drafts and renders with the tools you already pay for. CueCan is where that work lands, so switching models never means starting over.

Gaps, not guesses

Agents are told never to invent stats, results or stories. Anything only you know comes back marked [YOUR TAKE NEEDED].

Yours to take

Download any video as JSON, or have your agent round-trip the script through Obsidian. You’re never locked in.

Why CueCan exists

I used to make videos and stopped. I wanted every one to be perfect, and perfect turned into nothing at all. CueCan is my attempt to lower that friction, for me and for other creators who make videos as themselves.
