Ben Bjurstrom
Maker of CueCan
I'm a software engineer at Laravel, the company behind the Laravel framework for PHP and Laravel Cloud.
I started making YouTube videos in 2014, while I was teaching myself web development. I made WebConcepts to share what I was learning as I learned it, and people seemed to like the videos.
Then I stopped. As I got more experienced, what I wanted to share got more technical, and I wanted every video to be perfect: the script, the recording, the edit, the graphics. Perfect turned into nothing at all, and that frustrated me.
Why I built CueCan
I'm in the same spot again. I'm learning a lot of new things, this time about making videos with AI agents, and I want to share them the way I shared what I learned about code. I like making videos, sharing what I'm learning, and talking with people who are into the same things.
What stopped me last time was the work it takes to make something I'm proud of. I think AI gives us a real chance to change that. We can make videos we're proud of, in our own voice and with our own ideas, without getting stuck on the technical details. CueCan is my attempt to lower that friction, for me and for other creators who make videos as themselves.
The best place to reach me is X. If you message me there, I'll see it.
